Location: Anywhere in the US
OpenInvest is seeking a System Administrator reporting to the IT Manager. In this role, you will be the point of contact for system performance and maintenance. The right candidate will have previous experience as a system administrator or equivalent role. Some day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring MDM software, working with the SecOps team, troubleshooting, and providing technical support where needed.
What You’ll Do
Monitor system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely
Research and recommend new approaches to improve computer systems
Providing technical support when requested
Document any process that employees need to follow in order to successfully and securely work within the computing system
Ensure data is stored securely and backed up regularly
Troubleshoot hardware and software
Risk mitigation planning
Who You Are
At least 4 years experience in the IT field, ideally at a late-stage startup or large company (200+ FTE)
At least 2 years experience as an IT Admins or IT Support Specialist with Admin privileges.

Thorough understanding and experience with ticketing software (Jira, Zendesk, etc)
Experience working in GSuite, Microsoft Office, Intune, and MDM software. OS experience Windows and MAC
Innately comfortable in both Mac Linux systems
Knowledge and comfortability working in AWS
Bachelor's Degree in IT related field
Certification(s) in IT-related tools
